Week of January 9
There is no written homework (except writing assignments) for awhile (if you stay off of SSI). There will be a vocabulary pretest on Wednesday, so if you want to prepare, here are the words, plus a little pretest and crossword you can try. We will do it in class, I will go over it on Wednesday before the pretest. This week we will be working on academic words, rather than spelling, and the pretest will be the warm ups.  We will have our usual test on Friday. To be exempt from academic words, you must score 19/20 or better on the warm ups.  Regular KBARR is suspended while we read The Giver.

SSI people have been given a reprieve.
