Then: A Better Day

The word Then, is used to describe a better day. Langston Hughes is saying that in a better day (then), black people will be treated just like white people and black people will not be discriminated against for having a different color skin then white people. He is saying that then, he will be able to participate in all events as white people and will have the same chance for an equal education. That then, there will be no seperation of the rights for black people and for white.
