The Adventures of Tom Sawyer
by Mark Twain
For the daily reading checks and such, go to the Archives, and follow the daily links from January 17 - March 3.

Hot tip:If you have misplaced your book or left it at school, and need to do the assigned reading, go to the e-text version at the Tom Sawyer Home Page and just do it!
One of my personal faves, Tom Sawyer has also been a fave of my seventh grade students. This is because, in spite of difficult vocabulary and unfamiliar historical and cultural references, it is a novel intended to entertain.

These original illustrations from the novel can be found at The Tom Sawyer Home Page. See if you can figure out which scenes or characters they are depicting!
